Yep, still talking about it. As a couple, we have read, listened to, digested and talked into the early hours more about racism this month than ever before. We've discussed aspects of racism that have never before come up in conversation. Shared experiences we'd never thought to vocalise before. Like how the only Black man in the Highlands town where I (Stevie) worked ten years ago was known by most people, out loud and to his face, as The C**n. We've faced our own prejudices head on. Like how Nadia is still shocked by the sight of interracial couples, that juxtaposition of black and white, even though it's what everyone sees when they look at the pair of us. How deep this all goes.

Perhaps for some people, there's a sense of having reached saturation point. Enough already. I don't have time for this. We all have our struggles. Why now? But for us, every voice that's added to our internal dialogue - each one of our long-overdue conversations as a couple with very different heritages - deepens our understanding of how much has been buried and erased from our perception of what it means to be British, and how that plays out in our lives. As far as we're concerned, there is no saturation point when it comes to understanding and deconstructing racism and the impact it has on the lives of everyone else who lives on this island, on this planet.

Instagram moves quickly, and we wanted a place to share and keep resources that have moved us each week, or prompted a conversation, or made us delve deeper, or made us take action in the real world. Here's this week's...

A beautiful, plant-filled home tour (plus The Conversation).

Because we can't all afford books at the moment

All the little things and the big things. Like being stopped by police over 100 times.

..............

THIS. From 1969.

.............

Why don't you see it
Why don't you feel it
I don't know
I don't know

..............

It's easy to get distracted.

..............

Black is.

..............

It just doesn't happen here.
